Thank you so much for using Huntley Hills.  we appreciate you trusting us with the chance to take care of your airport transportation.  A couple of things to go over.

Confirmation of reservation and next-day policy.

If this reservation is LESS THAN 24 hours away, you need to contact our office to make sure it is going to get scheduled and confirmed. We are not guaranteeing orders that are placed the next day so please make sure you contact our office. We will let you know if there is a chance that your request will be honored.  If you do not call if your order is the next day, we cannot guarantee we will pick you up so for example if its Sunday and you want a ride on Monday, please call us to make sure we can take care of the request.  THIS POLICY IS ONLY FOR RIDES THE NEXT DAY NOT ALL TRIPS!

You should get a confirmation call the night before your pickup before 5 pm.  If you do not get a call, please call or text our office at 815-219-7575.  This will ensure there are no issues with your order.  We try to do these before 5 pm but sometimes we get super busy.

Pickups at home/business

We do everything we can to make sure we provide timely service.  If we are running late we will contact you as life does happen.  If we are not there within 10 minutes of the pickup time, please contact our office at 815-219-7575.

Instructions for Pickup at the Airport

Please call 815-219-7575 when you have luggage in hand. DO NOT TEXT.  TEXTING MAY DELAY THE PROCESS OF GETTING YOU PICKED UP.   The dispatcher will direct you to a place that is close to where you are standing.  They will also give you the name of your driver as well as the make and model of the car coming and color. They will also give you any other identifiers so you can find your driver. Please be aware you will not receive a text from the driver unless it is after hours or special circumstances where dispatch is not available. If such a situation arises you will receive your text when you get off the plane well before you go to your luggage.  Please make sure you submitted a mobile number when you placed the reservation so we can send updates like this or other items.  If you gave us a landline please call the office and ask them to make the correction.

Payment

The driver should be paid in the form of cash or a credit card. Tips can be added to credit cards by drivers. By giving us your credit card during booking the ride, that is not paying for the ride. It is simply putting a hold on your pickup.  If you refuse to pay the driver cash or credit card, we will run the credit card with a 25 percent handling fee.  We do not want to charge that fee but some clients feel they should just leave the driver because they submitted their card info. It is a major bookkeeping mess for the company that we want to avoid so please be prepared to pay the driver in cash or credit card. Zelle is Ok if the driver has it and you can send it to your driver personally.  WE DO NOT TAKE PERSONAL CHECKS!

Cancellations

Cancelations are OK as long as it’s before the day of.   For pickups at home and business, we need cancelation notice before midnight of the day of.  For airports, we need it before your plane leaves the airport where the flight is coming from. If we do not receive written cancellation in form of text or email we will charge the credit card for the full price of the ride if you do not contact us. By sending in your information you agree to these terms.  If you want to call in the cancel, please ask us to text confirmation of cancellation. We do not want to charge cards but due to recent events, we need to have these policies in place to protect drivers who work hard to bring our clients great service.
